TESE

TESE, on the other hand, is a more invasive procedure in which a small piece of testicular tissue is removed and examined under a microscope for the presence of sperm. It is typically used in men who have azoospermia due to a problem with sperm production in the testicles.
Both TESA and TESE are usually performed under local anesthesia and the success rate of these procedures depend on the underlying cause of azoospermia and the quality of the sperm retrieved.
